Truly an amazing display of objects associated with the history and growth of Augusta...the James Brown exhibit was truly a well put together tribute to an amazing performer who not only shared his talents with the world but kept his life roots strong within his own community of Augusta. I would recommend this to families trying to express the importance of equality and what we can accomplish as individuals
I was a bit disappointed they didn't have much tourist merchandise such as t shirts or postcards...they only had buttons and magnets
What an amazing little gem in Augusta. Been here for over 25 yrs and never knew this was here. I was just looking for something my 90 yr old Dad would be interested in. We both really enjoyed it. And it’s deceivingly very big! We didn’t get a chance to go to the 2nd floor, but the first floor was truly amazing and well done !
My mother and I had a great experience at the Augusta Museum. There was so much information that I did not even know about Augusta. It was pretty cool!
had a wonderful experience, the museum is clean and well-organized. Rich collections that deepen my impressions of Augusta. I feel more connected to this city after visiting.
Very interesting, nice selection of exhibits. Very cheap and fun afternoon adults are $5
This place has perfectly preserved important artifacts of Augusta’s culture!
We thoroughly enjoyed the museum and all of the artifacts, history, and interactive exhibits. I learned a lot and so did the kids. It's definitely a place to experience and learn so much history about Augusta for all ages.
This place is great! Not originally from GA, but learned a lot. The James Brown exhibit was phenomenal 😍
